PAS has announced the launch of the Integrity Automation Genome Software, the first product to provide a universal framework for the aggregation, contextualization, and simplification of data across an entire automation and production management system.

Citect has supplied a 50,000-point CitectSCADA system to Yorkshire Electrical Distribution Limited (YEDL) for remote control and monitoring of hundreds of remote sub stations in the West and South Yorkshire area. The Citect control system employs remote RTUs communicating to two central servers using Citect’s free-of charge DNP3 driver, which has been specially expanded by Citect to accommodate around 1000 remote sites.

Rockwell Automation announced that Summa has joined its FactoryTalk Information Solution Provider program. As a partner in the program, Summa will help manufacturers build successful, plant-wide information applications and manufacturing execution systems (MES) using the FactoryTalk integrated production and performance software suite.

Citect have released an RSView Importer, which combined with its existing importers for Fix32, iFix, InTouch and FactoryLink. Citect claim that as a result over 50% of the world's installed base of HMI/SCADA systems can now be converted to CitectSCADA quickly and easily with importers planned for WinCC, Wizcon and Genesis32 in the future.
